With Ferrara Hire, QuietMan Continues to Grow

Jan 12, 2012

QuietMan is pleased to announce the addition of Anthony Ferrara to its creative collective. Ferrara, who has spent the past several months freelancing at QuietMan, will join the staff full time after impressing on a handful of complex jobs, most notably a graffiti-inspired promo for American Express featuring the band Coldplay. He will bring his own style and creativity to his role as co-creative director alongside Johnnie Semerad.

"Not only does Anthony have a 'can do,' attitude, but he brings tremendous creativity to the table," noted QuietMan EP Carey Gattyan. "For the first time, Johnnie feels as though he has a true creative partner with a reputation for precise and well-executed work. Anthony is a true artist who lives and breathes art. That translates onto the screen and brings him into a true collaborative partnership with his clients."

"I am really excited to be a part of QuietMan and the high caliber of work they're known for," stated Ferrara. "Walking into work every morning immediately reminds me that what makes this place ideal is the staff of characters I spend my days with - they are talented, hard working, and consummately professional. Most important, while many places pitch the idea of their staff being a family, the dynamic here is undeniable."

Prior to joining QuietMan, Ferrara worked and freelanced as a graphics artist, animator and designer at Bikini Editorial, MD Designs, and Fearless Management/Fearless Productions. Notable spot work includes an online video and ad campaign for Bode. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Art from the School of Visual Arts.

"As an artist I don't like to limit myself to any one medium," noted Ferrara. "I have always loved anything tactile, and whenever I can I get my hands on a piece of clay, I feel at peace. I love bringing a piece of the physical world into this often digitally saturated medium. I look forward to pushing us here at QuietMan to try something new and get our hands dirty."
